Project:
Multiple one-hour, custom-designed courses for training
Circuit City's new sales associates and management staff in sales/management
techniques
and in selling Circuit City's products,
with the first thirty-eight courses developed in three months.

Role:
Supporting web designer and manager of out-sourcing process
for web design work. As web designer, designed and developed Flash
animations (often with audio); manipulated and optimized images
in Photoshop; redesigned clip art images in Illustrator; used Photoshop
and Fireworks to design and develop rollover animations; coded,
revised and processed courses.
Challenges
faced:
Dealing with out-source vendor during management of out-sourcing
web design work, including addressing design quality issues; assisting
in management of in-house
production
process;
meeting very tight and overlapping deadlines for multiple courses
in various development phases; balancing work deadlines with heavy
class schedule.
