Project:
Sixteen-hour, custom-designed certification course for
accountants participating in Intuit's Certified ProAdvisor Program,
divided
into three separate sections, each with its own exam, providing
in-depth training on Intuit's QuickBooks Pro software program.

Role:
Web design team lead, with sole responsibility for:
- creating and
designing interactivities in collaboration with client, creative
strategist and instructional designer
- revising and expanding upon existing
set of interactivity templates used in prior Intuit course
- producing
all interactivities and static graphics (approximately 150)
for the entire course
- creating/modifying html templates for
the course
- coding majority of the
course
in html
Challenges
faced:
Balancing time and establishing priorities for production
of each section of the course, which was done in overlapping
time frames; devising new techniques and modifications (i.e., scrollbars,
image rollovers) to fit large quantities of content within framework
of existing interactivity templates; managing and engaging in
production
at the same time; client-stakeholder illness and other client
development delays.
Animation/Design Examples:
Flash interactivities (scrolling,
self-playing, click-through/rollover)
